thermochromic clock

Telling time through color change

Thermochromic Clock is a concept of a clock that tells the time through the change of color. Thermochromic paint is triggered by the flow of current passing through a conductive fabric beneath the paint.

The purpose of this introductory class to electronics was to become familiar with circuitry, exploring uncommon ways to craft electronics.

Coming from a product design background, I have been fascinated by the idea of using conductive textiles and thermochromic paint for household goods.

This exercise allowed me to delve into the concept of resistance through the testing of different conductive materials in order to find suitable ones for achieving my prototype.
